Weekly Centering Prayer Group

This weekly centering prayer group meets at 7 pm Tuesdays from September through the beginning of June at Grace Church Brooklyn Heights, 254 Hicks Street Street, Brooklyn NY 11201. Enter through the Hicks Street entrance. The group is open to anyone who would like to attend and usually lasts about an hour.

We would love to have you join us!  We welcome seekers of all kinds who like to sit together in silence.

Please be aware that the Hicks Street entrance will only be open from 6:45 until 7:15, so please arrive during that time.  After 7:15 the door will be locked and we will not be able to open it without disrupting the group.

The group is co-led by Lindsay Boyer, Jim Connell and David James.  Lindsay is a spiritual director who has been leading the group since 2006.  Jim walks the spiritual journey in the Christian tradition and has been with the group almost since its beginning.  David has been practicing various forms of meditation for over 30 years and has been a regular member of the Centering Prayer group for the last six years.

The group runs from September through the beginning of June and does not meet the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Day.
